3G-SDI Frame Synchronizer with Up/Down/Cross Converter
The PVD 1800 is a broadcast quality compact 3G-SDI frame synchronizer with high quality Up/Down/Cross convertion for professional applications in the Broadcast and Post Production industry. It can buffer up to 30 frames, generate Test patterns and swicth inputs via GPI trigger.
The frame synchronizer utilizes robust “flywheel” algorithms that will accommodate a wide variety of low quality asynchronous SDI sources. All embedded audio is extracted and delayed automatically to match the video processing delay. The PVD 1800 provides up to 30 frames of programmable output delay adjustable in frames, lines and pixels.
The PVD 1800 converts between video formats from SD to HD1080p with an optional fast scale mode (less than 10 lines delay). In addition, the converter has a powerful Region of Interest (ROI) scaler that allows specific regions of the incoming video to be scaled up as a full SDI output.
The module is fully compatible with yelloGUI and LynxCentraal. It can be configured, controlled and updated using Windows or MacOS.
