greenMachine® is a powerful, award-winning, multi-purpose 12G/3G/1.5G/SD-SDI processing platform. It is the ideal reconfigurable toolbox for studios, OBs, remote production and any other media facility that requires AV signal processing.
With its unique software configurations (or constellations) one machine can be used as a single purpose processor or switch between a wide range of functionalities depending on your demands. All while only requiring to undertand a single User interface for the machine instead of multiple for each funtion.

Powerful Hardware as a solid foundation
The greenMachine titan is equipped with a wide range of connections at a compact form factor. These connections include
- BNC connectors for electrical 12G-SDI and 3G-SDI
- BNC connectors for Reference in- and output
- Two individual HDMI In- and Outputs
- RJ-45 connectors for Ethernet Control, GPI, and Serial communication
- Molex connectors for primary and redundant power
- 25pn D-Sub connector for additional Audio I/O
- Fiber SFP ports for 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI or MADI and 1GbE
The front panel also offers manual control via quick function buttons, programmable shortcuts or plain manual navigation through the menus.
What can the greenMachine actually do?
As a platform with on-demand function deployment, everything revolves around using so-called constellations. These software bundles offer varying functionalities under an umbrella name. If you buy the Up/Down/Cross converter constellation UPXD you also get:
- Individual Virtual In/Output Monitors (Analyze In/ Analyze Out)
- Individual Frame Synchronizer (Sync)
- Individual Color Correction (Image Proc)
- Individual Test Test Pattern Generaator (Generate)
- Audio Routing Options for AES, Embedded and MADI
Processing nodes in multi-path constellations (e.g. Image Proc nodes in 3G-SDI constellations), can be configured individually.
Rack Integration and Redundant Power
The greenMachine® hardware can be mounted in a dedicated rackframe taking just 1RU of space. With the included power supply holders the primary and redundant PSUs can be securely mounted easily within the frame. The rackframe, which is included in the all greenMachine® titan bundles (along with primary and redundant PSUs and the ‘constellation’ licence), can alternatively accommodate two greenMachine® titans, giving high density and light weight processing of up to eight 3G-SDI or two 12G-SDI processing channels in 1RU.
With two greenMachine® mounted the optional RXT 6001 Rackframe Extension can accommodate 4x PSU and provide cable management options all within the 1RU height behind the rackframe.
With one greenMachine mounted it is also possible to add the RYB 6000 yellobrik mounting half rackframe to, for instance, house yellobrik fibre/coax converters offering a single compact solution to a multitude of signal transports including SDI, Ref, ethernet etc. Or add output DAs or other converters as required. In addition the Rack Extension RXT 6001 provides PSU and cable management options all within the 1RU height behind the rackframe.
Full System Control, Integration and Automation
Access to the processing settings, routing, and event monitoring controls is via the free LYNX Centraal control software which, over an ethernet network, is compatible with Windows and MacOS platforms. Included in all greenMachine ‘constellation’ licences is the NOVA (Lynx Remote Control Interface) which enables full SNMPv2 integration with any compatible automation system. Four GPI/O and one serial interfaces are also provided.
LYNX Centraal can be downloaded free from HERE and run in Demo mode so you can simulate the configuration and integration interfaces.
