How does HDR Evie+ Unparalleled Color Retention Ccompare?
HDR Evie+© is designed to offer the best luminance and chroma conversion possible from HDR to SDR. And it delivers unparalleled results.
The current industry trend of applying fixed LUT transformation works in controlled and studio environments. But in uncontrolled natural, or large scale floodlight or stage-lit environments such as outdoor sports and events, the limitations of a fixed LUT are exposed. Artefacts and burn out are often visible. By analysing and processing 144 segments every frame HDR Evie+© offers consistent and accurate color depth and luminance over the whole scene. On location costs are also reduced and presenter/pundit comfort is improved as HDR level lighting rigs are not required for close up presentation, even against high background light.

Wide Range of Format Options
The HDR Evie+© offers a wide range of color and video processing adjustments in single 12G-SDI 4K/UHD channel up to 60FPS, or four channels for 3G-SDI and up to 2160p60 HDMI. The LynxCentraal networked graphical UI makes HDR processing, UPXD format conversion and in/out crosspatch between HDMI, Fiber, and BNC a quick and intuitive task. And of course configurations can be stored for recall at future events at the same or similar locations.
The full range of HDR colorimetries is supported at input and output of Evie+©. In addition HDR Static provides the ideal solution to cross convert if multiple HDR formats are present in a system to standardise an HDR production workflow. ‘Up’ conversion of SDR sources such as external feeds or archived material is also handled seamlessly by HDR Static.
